She holds a Law degree from Universidad Panamericana, where she also pursued a master's degree in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. She holds diplomas in the Right to Non-Discrimination and Results-Based Budgeting, both from UNAM.

She worked at the General Directorate for Gender Equality of Mexico's Ministry of Public Administration; the General Directorate for the Study, Promotion, and Development of Human Rights; and the Human Rights and Advisory Coordination Office of the Presidency of Mexico's Supreme Court of Justice.

She coordinates Alumbra, an Early Institute initiative dedicated to preventing child sexual violence in Mexico. She contributes to media outlets such as El Heraldo de México on pregnancy discrimination in the workplace, the prevention of child sexual violence, and human rights.
