She holds a Law degree from the Acatlán School of Higher Studies at UNAM and specializes in Intellectual Property Law. She has pursued extensive studies through courses, workshops, and seminars on Administrative Law, Intellectual Property, Constitutional Law, and Human Rights.

She has practiced at law firms in areas including Corporate, Administrative, and Intellectual Property Law. She coordinated the permanent Human Rights seminar at FES Acatlán-UNAM, actively participating in research and indirect advocacy processes promoting human rights. She has also coordinated, designed, and taught courses on constitutional law and human rights, with an emphasis on the rights of children, women, and Indigenous peoples and communities. She has taught at the Continuing Education Center of FES Acatlán-UNAM.
